Showcases, exams and competitions
Performance and assessment are part of how we teach. Students prepare repertoire, work towards a date, and perform or examine at the end of it. That is where technique turns into confidence.

Student showcases
Students perform work prepared in class in front of an audience of families and other students. Showcases are open to children's and adult classes.

Examinations
CFA
Chinese Folk Dance Association
We are the official UK arm of the CFA and teach its graded syllabus, which is recognised by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China. Students are entered for graded examinations as they progress.
ISTD
Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing
Our ballet classes follow the ISTD syllabus and students are entered for ISTD ballet examinations.
Examinations are optional. Students who prefer not to examine continue in the same class.

Competitions and cultural events
Students take part in dance competitions, and the school takes part in cultural and community events in London. Entry is by invitation from the teacher and is always optional.
